This plant grows best outdoors. 

Light: Very Bright Filtered Light or outdoor shade.
Needs very bright, but indirect or filtered light. West or South facing window is best, but out of hot direct sun.  Outdoor shade.

Water: Moderate
Allow soil to dry out 2in between watering. Do not allow to dry excessively. Water soil, not leaves.

Toxicity Level: Toxic to animals if ingested. 

In the Bay Area, CA, this plant can also live outdoors in shade.
