Tillandsia Vernicosa Tall

This air plant is really cool. She tends to coif her leaves to one side and grows more tall than wide. She is a pretty shade of green with an orange spike that blooms little white flowers all over. Her leaves are stiff, making her great for mounting, plant chandeliers, and other projects you need a really interesting plant for. She has lots of trichomes that give her a slightly velvety-green appearance and can grow to be around 10" tall. 

Size: 8" tall and 3" wide & currently blooming

Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren.
