Tillandsia Tectorum Equador Extra Large

These snowflake-like beauties are a rare species from Equador. Unlike most other air plants, they like full sun and very little water, we recommend spraying your plant thoroughly once every 1-2 weeks. This is THE plant if you are looking for a showstopper... that also happens to be low maintenance.

Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren.

Care: Likes full sun and very little water, we recommend spraying your Tectorum thoroughly 2-3 times per month.
