Tillandsia Houston Cotton Candy Clump

Tillandsia Houston Cotton Candy Clump

This air plant forms a cute little bush clump over time. She has stiffer but flexible leaves, and structured but also fuzzy leaves. Like a more compact and neat Stricta. Her flower is pink and makes great hanging clumps or mounted.

Size: 3-3" tall and wide & currently not blooming

Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren.
Care: Likes brighter light, making sure to keep it out of any direct sun. See our care page for more detailed care suggestions.
