Tillandsia Cacticola - Long Form

With its beautiful symmetry, Tillandsia Cacticola is a stunning and rare species that grows in the high altitudes of Northern in Peru. Similar to Tillandsia Tectorum, but unlike most other air plants, they prefer brighter sun with less frequent watering. We recommend thoroughly misting with or submerging your plant in water, once every 10-14 days.

Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren.

Care: Likes bright, filtered light and less frequent watering, we recommend watering your Cacticola thoroughly 2-3 times per month.
