Tillandsia Steptocarpa Giant Specimen
This is one of our most stunning air plant specimen. At this size this plant Is mature and has its curly base structure and looks great in a large bowl, vase, or on a pedestal on your shelf or table. It is 3 large plants twisted around each other and growing pups!
Size: 12” wide and 12” tall, currently not in bloom
| Clumping: This plant can grow into a beautiful clump over time! Seeing Tillandsias dry out or appear to "die" is normal after it has bloomed and begun birthing little babies around her base. Once you start to see the mother plant dry out, keep her attached to her pups. You can clip her flower off when it dries out, but don't separate the pups to make sure the plant is strong and hearty enough to grow into a big clump over the years. With care, this plant can become a specimen worthy of passing down to your grandchildren. |
| Care: Likes brighter light, making sure to keep it out of any direct sun. See our care page for more detailed care suggestions. |
